MODOC COUNTY, Calif. — 11 were arrested in connection to an illegal marijuana cultivation site discovered in Modoc County.

The Modoc County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) says that their deputies served a search warrant to a property on Schnieder Ranch Road near Day, Calif. on Thursday around 7 a.m.

Upon arrival, deputies witnessed several people actively processing marijuana inside of a barn which had been turned into a marijuana cultivation site. MCSO said that an additional 150 marijuana plants were found behind the barn alongside the 400 pounds of processed marijuana.

The MCSO says all 11 people were taken into custody and charged with cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, and conspiracy:
