JACKSON, Tenn. — The Jackson Tn Hemp Festival returns for the 4th year on Saturday April 19th at The Amp 11am – 9pm. This year’s live music will include local popular artists, Goat City, Midlife Riot, Herz, The Soul Shakers Society, Insect to Monarch, and Bonzai. The Festival will also have an interactive area with the local Jackson group MADwomen, where you can send your Legislator a message about Legalization.
Organizer Kindall Thomas says, “Thanks to our vendor support and Sponsors, our event has grown into a strong 4th year event. It shows people are ready for a change and it’s time our Legislature starts listening to those that want some form of Fair Legalization to occur.” She adds, “it is not only important that we Legalize to keep tax revenue here in our state, but we also can not penalize the 1000’s of small businesses across Tennessee that have built the industry by saddling them with burdensome costs. This year’s Legislation has been extremely tough for Hemp Businesses. Some may lose everything with the new push to tax more, and restructure under the Alcohol Beverage Commission.”
The Jackson Tn Hemp Festival will also have local vendors, food trucks, TN Hemp Lobbyist Groups, and Voter Registration.
