AUBURN (WGME) — A Maine man is accused of selling pot to kids in Auburn. He’s also accused of assaulting a 15-year-old boy and stealing his shoes.
Following a drug trafficking investigation on Fifth Street in Auburn, police say they learned 38 -year-old Ryan Jolicoeur was selling large quantities of marijuana, specifically to local juveniles.

On Sunday, police say a 15-year-old boy reported he was walking in the New Auburn neighborhood when Jolicoeur pulled his car up, got out, threatened him, took the teen’s shoes, sweatshirt, and cell phone before driving off.
According to police, Jolicoeur then circled around and assaulted the boy. The incident reportedly stemmed from a prior drug transaction.
Police say they searchedJolicoeur’s home at 92 Fifth Street and found more than 20 pounds of marijuana and marijuana products, as well as scales and approximately $1,600 in suspected drug proceeds.

Jolicoeur was arrested charged with aggravated trafficking scheduled drugs, robbery, theft, and assault.
He was taken to the Androscoggin County Jail where he was later released on $10,000 bail.
