Police seize 1 kg of marijuana from two men in Bakai-Ata district
AKIPRESS.COM – Two men suspected of transporting a large package of drugs have been detained, the Talas Regional Department of Internal Affairs reported.
The regional Service for Combating Illegal Drug Trafficking stopped K. A., born in 1993, and K. Sh., born in 1992, driving a car at about 9:25 pm on July 13.
“534.7 grams of marijuana were seized from K. A., and 425.3 grams of marijuana from K. Sh. The total weight of the seized substance was 960 grams,” the statement notes.
The criminal case on illegal production of drugs, psychotropic substances and their analogues was opened.
K. A. and K. Sh. have been detained as suspects. They have been placed in a temporary detention center.
