CLARKSBURG, W.Va (WDTV) – Eight people were arrested Saturday during a drug investigation in Clarksburg.
While executing a search warrant at 80 and 89 Jones Road, two juveniles were found near drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine, according to West Virginia State Police. One juvenile was sitting on a bed beside a loaded .22 revolver, police said, and the youngest child had bruises all over his legs.
John Jones, Rebecca Jones, Joseph Jones, Kaylie Jones, Tiara Miller, Troy Miller, Drome Claypool and Kristen Sendling were all arrested and charged with child neglect, possession with intent and conspiracy.
During their search of the residences, police found methamphetamine, fentanyl and 136 marijuana plants, along with packaging materials, digital scales and a ledger, court documents say.
All eight individuals are currently in the North Central Regional Jail.
