  • Comment on High Five: Five Health Organizations that Support Cannabis Research by Mark Henry
by Mark Henry on June 29, 2025 at 9:47 pm

Back in the 1960's and 70's The US government conducted an (ongoing?) experiment regarding the effects of smoking pot. My memory of the specifics is incomplete but I do remember that they were trying to come up with evidence of the dangers of pot usage. It was fun to keep track of their findings. At one point it was revealed that it would take about 4 kilos to kill a 5 lb. rabbit. A few years later the press interviewed a participant in the study who said that they were being given as much pot as they wanted and that the strain they used was an exceptionally good smoke. Then all reference to this study disappeared. I would like to see what they finally discovered and wonder if you could point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance for any help.
