According to the deputy’s report, a strong odor of marijuana emanated from the vehicle, and the driver, Trevor Kennedy, appeared to be impaired. A subsequent search of the vehicle yielded a significant quantity of narcotics, including 16 pounds of marijuana, over 2,000 THC vape pens, approximately one pound of THC wax, $4,775 in cash, and various “additional marijuana related items.”
The findings during the traffic stop prompted the Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Office to execute a search warrant at the residence of Kennedy and Goodwin. The search of their home uncovered an additional 10 pounds of marijuana, a firearm, and further THC-containing products.
As a result of the investigation, both Trevor Kennedy and Justice Goodwin were arrested and face charges of dealing drugs and neglect of their two young children.
