A spokesperson for Revenue said that the seizure is part of Revenue’s ongoing joint investigations involving organised crime groups and the importation, sale and supply of illegal drugs.

Investigations are ongoing according to the customs officials.

“Investigations remain ongoing and further updates will follow,” the Garda Press Office said in a statement.
