On May 19, 2025, a Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit was conducting a sniff on a vehicle in Buxton, NC and positively indicated to the presence of an illegal substance. The vehicle was searched by Deputies and resulted in the seizure of marijuana, an altered cannabis substance and possession
of marijuana paraphernalia.
Ms. Lola Wyche, F/26, of Buxton, North Carolina was arrested and charged with
Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance
Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana
Misdemeanor Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Ms. Wyche was issued a $2,000 secured bond.
