ASHTON—A 53-year-old Faribault, MN, woman was cited about 1:50 a.m. Saturday, June 14, near Ashton on charges of first-offense possession of a controlled substance — marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding.
The citing of Jennifer Melanie Eis stemmed from the stop of a northbound 2007 Chevrolet Impala for speeding on the Highway 60 expressway about two miles north of Ashton, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
Eis admitted to having a small amount of marijuana plant material in the center console, according to the incident report.
Several baggies, pipes, grinders and a small amount of plant material consistent with marijuana in a bag and in a jar were found in the vehicle during a consent search.
