A Mini Cooper driver with a bad headlight was arrested with marijuana in the parking lot of a local arcade.
Anthony Jose Agostini, 28, of Port St. Lucie, was driving a white Mini Cooper at 12:33 a.m. Thursday when a deputy noticed it had a non-functioning headlight and was pulled over in the parking lot of the Dreams arcade in Bushnell, according to an arrest report from the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.
During a traffic stop, the deputy noticed the “distinct” odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle. Agostini admitted he had “personal” marijuana in the vehicle.
He was arrested on a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana. He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released after posting $500 bond.
