Officers said they recovered 24 marijuana plants and 9 pounds of marijuana in jars for distribution.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — On Monday, the Alice Police Department Narcotics Division executed a search warrant that led officers to marijuana plants.

Police said Miguel Rodolfo Gonzalez was arrested at the 400 block of Gardenia Street after they recovered 24 marijuana plants and 9 pounds of marijuana in jars for distribution.

Police took the suspect into custody. Miguel Rodolfo Gonzalez has a bond set at $90,000.

The Alice Police Department said it remains committed to combating the illegal drug trade and protecting the safety of our community.
