SHELDON—A 44-year-old Sheldon woman was arrested about 11:20 a.m. Friday, April 11, on charges of first-offense possession of a controlled substance — marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The arrest of Brandi Renee Stigge stemmed from a report of her dancing along the 100 block of Marietta Road south of Hills Park in Sheldon, according to the Sheldon Police Department.
An officer found Stigge in Hills Park and detected the odor of marijuana.
Asked is she had any marijuana on her, Stigge handed the officer a glass marijuana pipe from the pocket of her robe. A green leafy substance consistent with marijuana was in the bowl of the pipe.
Stigge said she was walking to Hills Park to smoke, according to the incident report.
