WILLIAMSTON, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office said two people were arrested after they seized a “mountain” of money and marijuana.
Anderson County’s Narcotics Investigation Unit searched a home on Branchview Drive in Williamston as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
Investigators seized 37 pounds of marijuana, 3 grams of ecstasy, a firearm, and $54,490.

Deputies charged 35-year-old Malik Bennett and 32-year-old Brittany Williams with trafficking marijuana, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and distribution of methamphetamine.
