CLEVELAND COUNTY, OK (KOKH) — The Office of the Attorney General’s Organized Crime Task Force, in collaboration with multiple law enforcement agencies, has dismantled three illegal marijuana farms in Cleveland County, seizing nearly 65 pounds of processed marijuana and approximately 29,000 plants.

Two Chinese nationals, Ruibin Wu and Xihai Yin, were arrested and face charges including aggravated manufacturing, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

The investigation began in March after the task force received a tip about suspicious grow activities near 183rd Street in Lexington.

Attorney General Gentner Drummond said, “This coordinated operation demonstrates our firm commitment to rooting out illegal marijuana operations across our state. These illicit grow operations often serve as fronts for organized crime and pose significant threats to public safety and our environment. We will remain vigilant in our efforts to shut down these criminal enterprises.”
