The raid took place in Huntroyde Avenue, Tonge Moor and was carried out by officers from the Bolton North neighbourhood team.
They say that the plants have now been seized and destroyed.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: “The warrant was positive and approximately 70 cannabis plants have been found inside the address across two rooms, this has been seized and destroyed.
