At around 4pm on Thursday, May 29, officers from Thames Valley Police’s proactive team stopped a vehicle on Eastern Street in the town and spoke to the driver.
After a search, the man in question was eventually arrested on suspicion of multiple offences.
These include possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class A – Cocaine, possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of Class B – Cannabis, possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, namely a claw hammer, and acquireing/useing/possessing criminal property, namely, cash.
At the time of writing, he remains in police custody.
A spokesperson from the force said: “We cannot keep up this work without your help.
