BALDWIN, La. (NEWS 15) — Baldwin police arrested two suspects and two others are wanted after a car chase on Wednesday, June 4, according to Baldwin Police Chief Anthony Gibson.
He noted officers found marijuana, a handgun, and an assault-style firearm during their investigation.
He added Jawan Colar, 26, of Baldwin, was arrested on multiple charges, including possession of a firearm with a CDS and possession with intent to distribute. His bond is set at $50,000.
Treyonne Davis, 19, also of Baldwin, faces similar charges. His bond is set at $30,000.
Both were taken to St. Mary Parish Law Enforcement Center for booking.
Police identified the two who fled on foot as Kyzun Sakai Clay, 20, of Baldwin, and Javon Robertson, 22, of Jeanerette. They are wanted on charges of possession with intent to distribute and resisting an officer, among others.
Robertson is also wanted by Jeanerette police after a shooting that injured a man.

JEANERETTE, La. (NEWS 15) — The Jeanerette Police Department responded to reports of gunfire on Canal Street on Wednesday, June 4, and officers chased multiple suspects running from the scene. A man was treated for a gunshot wound by officers and transported to a hospital. The injury is not considered life-threatening.
