Missouri marijuana regulators issue notice to licensees to update information

The Division of Cannabis Regulation has issued updated guidance for licensed marijuana businesses in Missouri, reinforcing the obligation to keep contact and facility information current. Licensees who fail to comply with these requirements may face administrative penalties, including fines of up to $10,000, license suspension, or revocation, according to 19 CSR 100-1.100(6).

The May 19 guidance, available here, highlights recurring issues with outdated or missing information and serves as a reminder that each licensee must maintain up-to-date records for their designated contact and any fictitious business names used.

“To ensure that the public has access to accurate and current facility details, DCR will begin updating facility listings on its website,” the agency said. These listings may include a facility’s fictitious name, phone number, website, and email address, details that are drawn from the General Information section of the licensee’s record in the online registry system.

Licensees are encouraged to review this information and, if needed, submit a Business Update Application. Only one Business Update Application may be submitted at a time. Licensees currently in the process of submitting an update must coordinate with their assigned business licensing specialist to clear the portal for a new submission.

“As the Division strives to have correct and accurate information to ensure timely communication with
licensees, we request that licensees review the registry record and submit any needed changes by June 19, 2025,” the guidance document reads.
