YUBA COUNTY, Calif. – The Marijuana Enforcement Team of Yuba County, along with the regional SWAT team and California Department of Fish & Wildlife, conducted several search warrants in Brownsville and Dobbins last week.
Authorities targeted illegal marijuana cultivation as part of the operation, but also discovered illegal firearms, illegal fumigant pesticides, and multiple water code violations during their investigation.
During the operation, law enforcement eradicated a total of 6,961 marijuana plants.
The Yuba County Sheriff’s Office says that 34-year-old Noe Calleja was arrested in the area of Pine Ridge Drive in Brownsville, and 61-year-old Zhiming Huang was arrested near Sun Forest Court in Dobbins.
Both men are facing charges for felony marijuana cultivation, possession of marijuana for sales, and resisting arrest.
