[[{“value”:”Goldflower Cannabis, known for its “comparable to organic” products, is expanding into South Florida with its first Miami dispensary.
Goldflower will open its new dispensary at 7401 Bird Road on June 14, joining its six other retail locations in Florida. The Gulf Coast-based company currently only offers daily delivery service in South Florida.
“Miami is a cultural hub with a thriving medical cannabis community, and we’re excited to bring our unmatched quality, services, and products to this incredible city,” Angelo Lombardi, president of Goldflower, said in a press release announcing the new brick-and-mortar shop.
Goldflower says the new Miami dispensary will feature exclusive strains from its in-house brand, Ideal Cannabis, and partner brands, such as DH Farms by Doughouse, Space Coast, and Imperial Farms. It will also sell celebrity-licensed brands, including Lion Order, created with former Miami Dolphins running back Ricky Williams and former University of Miami and son of late Reggae legend Bob Marley, Rohan Marley, among others.
As cannabis users look for all-natural marijuana products without chemical contaminants and pesticides, Goldflower strives to provide products that are naturally and safely cultivated and free of potential toxins. According to a company spokesperson, Goldflower has two growing operations — a 50,000 square foot indoor growing facility and an over 100,000 square foot greenhouse and growing space in Mount Dora.
Known for its “organic practices,” Godflower uses live soil in its grow operations. Goldflower’s offerings of other brands grown in soil include G-Weed, Sofresh, Highsman, T4, and Lion Order.
“During the vegetation portion of their life, they use nutrients from the soil, and we only add water,” Lombardi tells New Times. “When we do add nutrients, later in the flower process, we use organic nutrients.”
When it comes to pesticides, Lombardi says Goldflower, which has grow operations in Bradenton and Mount Dora, only uses “organic and appropriate ones when needed.”
“We focus on clean growing practices and operate our grow security to limit any exposure to pest pressure, ” he adds. “In the rare instances when we have pest pressure, we use natural solutions such as heat and citric acid to remediate.”
The Miami location will join Goldlower’s locations in Bradenton, Largo, St. Petersburg, Ocala, Tampa, and Sebring. The company has plans to open dispensaries in Orlando, Bonita Springs, Lakeland, the Villages, Cape Coral, Tallahassee, and Jacksonville.
