ARDMORE, Okla. (KSWO) – Officials with the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics say they arrested a pair of men trafficking marijuana through the area.
They say that arrest came after a chase near Ardmore and ended with the suspects’ truck flipping several times.
In a online post, OBN officials say Deandre Myrick and Deshon Abram bought 20 pounds of marijuana in Oklahoma City for the purpose of trafficking the drug to Texas.
They reportedly sped off when agents tried to pull them over sparking a chase that reached speed up to 110 miles per hour.
OBN says during that chase, the men threw several items from their truck including a loaded handgun.
After the crash, the men were arrested, then taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
They are currently behind bars, and face a number of charges.
