BEND, Ore. — A Bend man was cited Wednesday and more than 50 pounds of processed marijuana was seized following an illegal grow op investigation, Central Oregon Drug Enforcement announced Friday. The suspect, 37, was arrested on suspicion of unlawful manufacturing, possession and attempted distribution of marijuana, all felonies.

Detectives with the Deschutes County Illegal Marijuana Market Enforcement (DCIMME) team, assisted by CODE, served a search warrant in the 17000 block of Kasserman Drive on Wednesday morning, Lt. Mike Landolt said in a statement. While it’s technically a Bend address, the location is south of Three Rivers.

In addition to the marijuana, detectives also foud over 400 grams of marijuana concentrates, approximately 50 growing marijuana plants and with evidence of distribution including packaging, scales, and mailing boxes, Landolt said. Evidence was also allegedly found showing the drugs were being distributed through the mail.

The suspect was issued a criminal citation and was expected to appear in court, Landolt said.
