BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. (WNDU) – Police seized hundreds of marijuana plants after busting an illegal marijuana growing operation in Berrien County.
Police say they served a search warrant on March 27 at an abandoned warehouse on Stevensville-Baroda Road in Baroda Township after several neighbors complained about an unusual odor coming from the building.
Officers found two men inside the warehouse, along with over 550 marijuana plants and over 34 pounds of processed marijuana.
The two men, a 22-year-old from Indianapolis and a 43-year-old from Denver, were interviewed but released. No charges have been filed at this time.
