REDDING, Calif. — A Redding Police Department search warrant has led to a narcotics seizure and dismantling of illegal cannabis grow.
On Tuesday, June 18, 2025, officers with the Neighborhood Police Unit executed a search warrant at a residence in the 5100 block of Woodview Drive in Redding, as part of an investigation into a suspected illegal indoor cannabis cultivation operation.
During the search, officers found around two ounces of cocaine and other items indicative of narcotics sales, including digital scales and packaging materials. They also discovered a complex indoor cannabis cultivation site in a shop on the property.
Overall, officers seized over 600 cannabis plants and more than 66 pounds of processed cannabis, individually packaged in one-pound bags.
RPD have identified suspects in the investigation and are actively pursuing leads. The investigation remains ongoing.
