SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. — Two Sumter men are in jail after a narcotics investigation led to a search warrant on Wednesday.
The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office said that deputies across multiple investigation units executed a warrant on Clement Road around 1 p.m., where they found roughly 14 grams of crack cocaine, 26 grams of cocaine, and 216 grams of marijuana packed and ready for distribution.
As a result, deputies arrested 24-year-old David Howard on charges of trafficking crack cocaine and trafficking cocaine. They also arrested 40-year-old Anton Jovaan Johnson on a charge of possession with intent to distribute marijuana. Both men were taken to the Sumter County jail, awaiting bond hearings.
