NORTHAMPTON CO., Pa. – The Northampton County Drug Task Force recently seized over 6,000 packages of marijuana and over $375,000 from local convenience stores.

A media report from the District Attorney’s Office says the investigation began in March 2025 after receiving information about the illegal sale of marijuana and THC-related products across Northampton County.

Officers working undercover were able to purchase the products in question and submit them for laboratory testing with the Pennsylvania State Police, which returned positive test results for marijuana, the police report writes.

On March 8, search warrants were executed at three Penn Jersey stores in East Allen Township, Washington Township and Upper Bethel Township. A search was also executed at Pen Argyl Food Mart in Pen Argyl.

Police report that officers seized over 1,100 packages of THC edibles, over 1,900 THC vape cartridges, and over 3,400 packages of alleged THC flowers and pre-rolls. Officials say the estimated street value of these items is over $400,000.

Detectives also seized over $375,000 in U.S. currency from the above mentioned locations.
