A county lines drug dealer from Tamworth is back behind bars after an investigation by major and organised crime proactive teams.
Lee Lynch from Primrose Drive in Amington was the subject of a stop-and-search by Staffordshire Police officers in Amington on Wednesday, January 15 this year.
They found multiple deals of heroin, crack and a mobile phone.

Lynch’s home was then searched where more heroin was found.
And police also discovered a county line drug phone linked to a drug line operating in Tamworth.
He admitted possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine.
And was jailed for three-and-a-half years at Stafford Crown Court last Friday (May 9).

In a statement a spokeswoman for Staffordshire Police said: “A drug dealer has been jailed after officers from our major and organised crime proactive teams found heroin and crack cocaine on him in Tamworth.
“Lee Lynch, 61, from Tamworth, was sentenced to three-years-and-four-months in prison at Stafford Crown Court on Friday (9 May), after pleading guilty to possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine at an earlier hearing.
“It comes after he was stopped and searched by our officers in Amington on 15 January this year. They found multiple deals of heroin, crack and a mobile phone.
“When we searched his house, we found more heroin and a county line drug phone linked to a drug line operating in Tamworth.
“We are continuing to work proactively to tackle serious and organised crime as part of our Operation Target commitment.”

Lynch had previously been caught handing a package with £420-worth of Class A drugs to a woman in Amington, Tamworth, in a separate incident.
The bag was found to have 30 deals of heroin and 12 deals of crack cocaine, plus a mobile phone and £25 in cash.
Lynch’s home was searched and officers found an extendable baton, cannabis and digital scales.
He was then jailed for two-and-a-half years back in March 2023.
But has now back behind bars following the further offence this year.
