Woman accused of embezzling $750,000 from Pasco marijuana shop
PASCO, Wash. — A woman is in custody, accused of embezzling over $700,000 from a local marijuana dispensary. Court documents reveal she was employed by the Pacific Outpost Dispensary in Pasco and was responsible for making cash deposits.
An internal audit uncovered that almost $600,000 was missing. Additionally, the woman is accused of withdrawing nearly $200,000 using a company credit card.
During a police raid of her home, officers discovered multiple high-end purses and receipts from Wildhorse Casino. Court documents also indicate she sent money to family in Mexico, leading officers to consider her a flight risk.
She was booked into the Franklin County Jail and her bail has been set at $25,000.
