BELOIT, Wis. (WTVO) — Beloit Police’s Violent Crime Interdiction Team (VCIT) arrested Jeovonte Jones, 38, and a juvenile, 17, both for intent to deliver cannabis among different charges between the two.

On April 22nd, police conducted a search warrant in the 1700 block of Gateway Boulevard as a follow-up to an investigation into drug offenses and violent crimes.

During the search, police found cocaine, cannabis, MDMA, an unknown substance, four firearms including one that was stolen and cash.

Jones is being charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, possession with intent to deliver cannabis, possession of MDMA, vehicles for drug trafficking, felon in possession of a firearm, receiving stolen property and probation hold.

The juvenile is being charged with juvenile possession of a dangerous weapon, manufacture with intent to deliver cannabis and a warrant unrelated to the incident.
