LINDSEY, Okla. (KSWO) – The Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics’ Marijuana Enforcement Team served a search warrant in Oklahoma after Missouri State Police found a fake Amazon van with black-market marijuana inside earlier this year.

OBN agents served a search warrant at Bright Stones LLC. in Lindsey, Oklahoma on April 22. Those agents seized 9,143 marijuana plants and 215 pounds of processed marijuana at the property. Arrests are still pending the investigation, according to a press release sent to 7News.

However, this investigation began when Missouri police stopped a fake Amazon fan in January 2024 for traffic violations. When authorities searched the van, they found 246 pounds of marijuana which was picked up at the Linsey location, according to the press release.

“A search of the van uncovered 246 pounds of packaged marijuana which had recently been picked up at the location in Lindsey,” OBN Spokesman Mark Woodward said. “OBN began an investigation into this black-market shipment and discovered Bright Stones LLC had obtained its license by fraud, using a ‘straw ownership’ scheme. The main target of this investigation has been linked to several other illegal marijuana operations in Oklahoma.”

Over 3,000 marijuana grows have been shut down by OBN’s Marijuana Enforcement Teams since 2021.
